The Alzheimer Center at Quabbin Valley Healthcare was created with a state-of-the-art environment design, utilizing some of the leading Alzheimer experts in the nation.  They helped us combine the most cutting-edge, Alzheimer-friendly interior design with staff education and training second to none.

Small successes can make a big difference to an Alzheimer patient.  That’s why our programs are designed to allow patients literally hundreds of small but precious opportunities to succeed throughout the day.  We’ve created a unique safe and non-institutional environment for our Alzheimer’s patients.  Whether it’s in our enriching activities, which emphasize remaining rather than lost social skills or our Reminiscence Therapy, which taps into those happiest of memories.  We bolster confidence… We nurture self-esteem… We encourage laughter.
